Born and raised in Northwest Greece, Kostis Rossos is a saxophonist, composer and band leader.
Inspired by the music of Epirus, you might say that he speaks the language of Jazz "with an accent".
With his compositions he aspires to evoke emotions and share his personal experience of life, inside and outside the musical world. 

Looking closer project

Kostis' latest project “Looking Closer”, explores the notion that we cannot control all the events around us but that we can take time and space to experience them fully. Each composition is meant to describe a feeling/state of mind that can’t be put in words and explore its complexity that is hard to be consciously perceived.
